The Friends Schools (RFS) is a PK-12, co-educational Quaker school with two big campuses. The Friends school is the first and only school in Palestine offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

The lower school (FGS) is located on a beautifully shaded campus near the heart of the Old City of Ramallah, while the upper school (FBS) is located on the picturesque campus of El-Bireh.

 

2) History

 

The lower School (FGS) was founded in 1895.

The upper school (FBS) was founded in 1901.

 

3)Governance

The Friends School is governed by a local Board of Trustees (14 members) in partnership with the owners, the Friends United Meeting of Richmond, Indiana, USA. The FUM appoints the School Director and senior board members.
